Entry from: Stockbridge, United States Entry Title: “Nice park in the Boondocks, side trip to RV Museum” Entry: “As we drove on up to Michigan, we passed a nuclear power plant just east of Toledo, Ohio, that I was able to get a photo of as we were driving along. Eventually, we got up to the Heartland Woods RV Resort, which was pretty much in the middle of nowhere, NE of Jackson, NW of Ann Arbor, SE of Lansing and about half-way between Interstate Hwys 94 & 96. The RV park was nice enough, with lots of trees, usually our nemesis, but we managed to point the portable satellite dish through a break in the canopy of branches. It was actually a good thing that we were using the portable dish, because it works better in the rain and we got lots of rain…. at least once every day….then it would be super steamy!!! The rain and humidity not only made being outside uncomfortable, it was downright dangerous, at least for me, because the mosquitoes were terrible! I must be allergic to them, because I get welts that last for about 4-5 days of pure torture for me. I have to take Benedryl pills, smear the area with Benedryl cream and use ice packs to bring down the heat, swelling and miserable itching. So, if I had to go outside, in spite of the heat, I had to cover up with socks, long pants and sleeves …
