You are bidding on a No Reserve Auction for a VINTAGE LEHMANN WEST GERMANY TOM CLIMBING MONKEY Now here’s the real deal – an investment-quality, genuine old tin-metal toy made by the famous Lehmann toy maker originally from Brandenburg, near Berlin, in what became East Germany. This is one of the West German versions made after WWII when the company moved from its Soviet-occupied origins to Nuremburg. Probably from the late 1940s or early 50s, this trademarked Tom has the number 888 on his hat and the string is plastic. The tassle, not seen on older versions, is perfect, as is the paint except for fine wear lines where the arms slide over the vest and lapels. Some of Lehmann’s older toys have sold for tens of thousands of dollars. This one’s a keeper, sure to appreciate as it delights your inner child! Condition: MINT or LIKE NEW! This item has been very well taken care of, and shows no sign of damage or blemishes. See photos for more details.
This is an original moxie cooler that we are selling on eBay. Much more rare than the coke ones
